ACCOMPANYING PIANIST OBOE SPECIALTY

He was born in Alcantarilla (Murcia). He began his piano studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Murcia and concluded them in Granada, under the tutelage of Juan José Pérez Torrecillas, obtaining the highest grades in piano and chamber music.

As an instrumentalist he has performed numerous chamber music recitals with various groups, as a duo with violin (with Gabriel Lauret) and piano four hands (with Joan Espinosa) performing in various Spanish cities and abroad, and recording some of them for Radio Clásica and Canal 9 Television. He also collaborated with the Saravasti Quartet performing the Piano Quintets of Schumann, Brahms and Dvorak in the Hall of Mirrors of the Romea Theatre in Murcia, as well as in various locations throughout the country. He has collaborated in the production of a CD with music by the composer Manuel Seco, recording his Sonata for piano and violin with the violinist Manuel de Juan.

As a soloist he has performed with groups such as the Promúsica Orchestra of Benidorm, the Philharmonic Band of Altea, the Band “L’illa” of Benidorm, the Symphony Orchestra of Murcia, the City of Elche Orchestra and the Jumilla Symphony Orchestra and the UCAM Symphony Orchestra. With the latter he performed “Nights in the Gardens of Spain” by Manuel de Falla in a concert held in La Spezia (Italy).

Since 2004, he has formed a duo with the pianist Pedro Valero, performing in various locations in Spain as well as in Italy, Belgium, France, Argentina, Switzerland, Germany and Poland and have recorded an unpublished double CD on the “Suite Iberia” by Isaac Albéniz transcribed for piano four hands for them, by Ginés Martínez Vera.

He is currently a professor of pianist accompaniment at the Conservatory of Music of Murcia.
